to more than 3.2 million homes and 7 million potential viewers in Chicagoland
and NW Indiana, Afterhours Television (ATV) aired on Friday nights for 3 consecutive
seasons (36 episodes) in 2002 and 2003 on WJYS Channel 62.
ATV was ground breaking. The creator's of ATV, Brandy James and Jimi Custer, hoped to reinvent American Bandstand for the new millennium of dance music lovers.
ATV featured performances and interviews from many of the worlds greatest djs and producers including The Crystal Method, Underworld, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha & John Digweed, Carl Cox, Chemical Brothers, BT and DJ Dan, filmed LIVE from Chicago's hottest Dance clubs including Crobar and Vision Nightclub. ATV also filmed major natioan events including Area 2 (Chicago, IL), Delta Heavy Tour (Chicago, IL), WMC (Miami, FL), Ultra (Miami, FL), DEMF (Detroit MI), and Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI).
